Studying Sport is diverse and varied, where you’ll study topics such as anatomy and physiology, sports coaching, sports psychology, nutrition, performance analysis, sports massage, sports injuries, fitness testing and biomechanics just to name a few. During your studies, we’ll help prepare you for the world of work with a range of visits, workshops and practical work experience through placement opportunities.
We currently have partnerships with North East sports teams, Newcastle Eagles, Newcastle Thunder, Newcastle Falcons, Newcastle United Foundation and Blyth Spartans. There’s also the opportunity to move into higher education after your course, where you can progress to university, gain an apprenticeship or move straight into employment.
