Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version [2.1 or 2.2] AA standard, due to the non-compliance(s) listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

PDFs

Some PDF documents on our website are non-compliant with the regulations, for example, they may not be marked up so they’re accessible to a screen reader, or they may be photocopies of documents

We now have governance in place to make replacements in an accessible format. Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards unless we determine that they represent a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.

Documents you need to download or fill in to access one of the services we provide should be fully accessible, or the content they provide is present on our website in accessible format (e.g. course guide downloads contain the same content as the website courses pages).

Images

Some images do not always have suitable image descriptions.  Users of assistive technologies may not have access to information conveyed in images.

Videos

Some videos do not have captions.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We are urgently fixing content which fails to meet guidelines.

We are reviewing all PDF files on our website and producing accessible versions.

Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards unless we determine that they represent a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.
