“I start my day at 9am where we organise and condition the flowers and foliage we will be using for the next 2 days. Our course tutor, Tina, will start the morning by letting us know what we need to do in regard to our coursework, what we will be doing for the next 2 days and what work needs to be handed in for assessments. The course is a good mixture of practical designs and coursework involving art and design, working in the industry such as setting up events and starting your own shop.
The college has great facilities including its own flower shop where you can create arrangements and bouquets to sell. There is also great cafeterias and restaurants available for students with plenty of options so you don’t have to go far for your dinner. I’ve met so many lovely people on this course who I’d like to stay in touch with or work with in the future. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about going back to college to take that leap, you will learn so much and it will be such an enjoyable experience!”
