HND in Sport & Exercise Science (Sports Therapies)

COURSE INFORMATION

 

The qualification is for those students who want to further develop their careers within the sports therapies arena. If you have been working in industry and have the relative support, you can go straight onto level 5 HND.

  • Exercise Prescription
  • Sports Rehabilitation
  • Strength and Conditioning
  • Teaching Practice

The entry requirements for this course is 120 ucas points or a Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage, or Personal Training plus industry experience.

An informal interview with the course tutor is also required

On successful completion of the course, you will receive an Higher National Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Therapies) which can allow for self-employment as well as employment in the leisure industry or further education.
