English (ESOL)
Introduction
English for Speakers of Other Languages or ESOL, is a course to help you if English isn’t your main language and would like to learn and improve it. By gaining and expanding your skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing, it’ll make it easier to:
- Talk to doctors and teachers
- Learn to use a computer
- Understand UK laws and customs
- Help your child with homework
- Prepare for the Life in the UK Test and become a British citizen
- Get more out of life in the UK
Your teachers and other staff will provide you with lots of support throughout the course, and find the class, level and pace that’s best for you. Many of our ESOL students have progressed on to other courses, or even studied at university to continue their learning in higher education.
