Outstanding results have been celebrated by our Level 3 and T Level students, with an incredible 98% pass rate achieved across all first and second year T Level students at TyneMet College.
There was particular success for our T Level Health and Early Years students, with every first and second year student achieving a pass in their qualification.
Following their results, our students are now taking the next exciting steps in their education and careers, with many heading to university to continue their studies.
After completing her T Level in Health, Lizzie is heading to Teesside University to study Paramedic Science, taking the knowledge and practical experience she gained at college into her future career.
Connie is heading to Northumbria University to study International Business after collecting her T Level in Business results, while fellow Business student Sophie is also set to begin at Northumbria University, where she will study Marketing.
Our Level 3 students are also celebrating their achievements and looking ahead to exciting futures. After completing his Level 3 Digital Technology course, Adam is heading to the University of Sunderland to study Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.
Meanwhile, after studying Level 3 Art & Design, Daniela is set to continue her creative journey by studying a degree in Art.
The success doesn’t stop at university, with many of our students heading straight into employment or apprenticeships. The skills, knowledge and valuable industry experience they have gained during their courses have helped prepare them for the next stage of their careers.
T Levels are two-year, hands-on courses designed to help students get work-ready after their GCSEs. They combine classroom learning with valuable industry experience, with students spending 80% of their time studying at college and 20% on an industry placement.
This means students develop essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills at college, alongside gaining invaluable experience in a real workplace within their chosen industry.
We offer T Levels in Early Years, Business, Health and Engineering, giving students the opportunity to develop specialist skills and gain experience that can open doors to university, apprenticeships and employment.
