Interior Systems apprentice Dawson Dellar has been recognised on the national stage after being named Runner-Up in the FIS Trade Apprentice of the Year 2025. The FIS Training Awards celebrate the very best rising talent across the finishes and interiors sector, highlighting apprentices who demonstrate outstanding skill, determination, and passion for their craft.

Dawson travelled to London with his tutor, Tony, on Tuesday 25th November to attend the national finals at the historic Plaisterers’ Hall, where he proudly accepted the Runner-Up award.
This recognition marks yet another milestone in what has already been an exceptional year for Dawson. In 2024, he showcased his abilities on a national platform by competing in the WorldSkills UK National Finals, further solidifying his reputation as one of the sector’s brightest young talents.
Dawson began his journey with us in September 2023 when he joined as an apprentice with ACS Plastering, and his achievements since then have spoken volumes about his work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Tony Dalgleish, Dawson’s tutor, expressed his pride in Dawson’s remarkable progress:
We are incredibly proud of everything Dawson has achieved. His hard work, dedication, and willingness to keep learning have built an exceptionally strong foundation for what will no doubt be an incredible career within Interior Systems. Watching his growth over the past few years has been inspiring, and this award is truly well deserved.
We look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next as he continues to develop his skills and build a promising future in the industry.
