Uniformed Public Services (Diploma) – Level 2

This course is for you if...

You want to gain essential skills that will equip you for success in the Uniformed Services.

From map reading to team work and leadership, you will gain a variety of skills and hands-on experience that will prepare you for life in the Uniformed Services.

 

 

 

Other areas of study include drill and discipline, communication, fitness theory and development, and competitive team sports and activities.

Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade D (3) or above (with at least 1 at Grade C (4) or above). This is the equivalent to 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above. Completion of a Level 1 Certificate with relevant English and maths qualifications will be accepted.

An informal interview with the course tutor is also required.

You will also need a reasonable level of fitness and to be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork skills with a total focus on completing the course.

You will produce a portfolio of work over the year consisting of work from unit workbooks and practical observations.

You may progress onto the Level 3 course or take up a career in one of the armed or civilian Uniformed Services.
