Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your beauty skills to the next level, this course is your gateway to a rewarding career in the beauty therapy industry.
Step into the world of professional beauty with hands-on training in our professional salons, where you’ll master everything from Microdermabrasion and Advanced Facials to Swedish, Hot Stone, and Indian Head Massage. You’ll also dive into key topics like client care, communication, and health & safety — all essential for success in the fast-paced beauty industry.
You’ll also gain real-world experience in our on-site commercial salon, working with real clients and staying ahead of the trends with access to industry-recognised workshops featuring the latest products and techniques.
You’ll also be able to get involved in exciting extra-curricular activities that go beyond the classroom, building your confidence and portfolio.
There will be the option of studying the Level 3 Certificate or Level 3 Diploma and the right option for you will be discussed with the course leader.
To be able to study the course, you will need to have achieved level 2 Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
GCSE maths and/or English grade 3/4 and above. Students must have a Grade 4 in either English or Maths and a Grade 3 in other subject maths or English.
16–19-year-old learners will be required to continue with maths and English until a Grade 4 or above is achieved.
The level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification expects learners to have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to providing professional treatments to a range of clients within the salon environment.
Assessment is based on practical competency, graded assessments and external online tests.
This qualification is valued by employers as it proves that you can perform a job to a high industry standard. Careers include Beauty Therapist within a salon or spa, working on a cruise ship, or a cosmetic and skin care consultant.

- Apply micro-dermabrasion techniques
- Apply stone therapy massage

As part of the course, students will need to complete mandatory work experience hours to develop real-life working skills within a salon or beauty environment.
