What to expect?
Our basketball academy is delivered in partnership with Newcastle Eagles. You’ll progress as a player by working with our experienced coaching team and develop industry-specific skills.
Off the court, our academic expertise means you’ll study A levels or vocational subjects, with training slots built in.
BEING PART OF OUR BASKETBALL ACADEMY, YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Take on the best in the country in the National EABL Elite Academy Basketball League through Newcastle Eagles Academy.
- Receive up to 10 hours training each week in superb facilities
- Receive exclusive subsidised training, playing and leisure kits
- Have individually tailored strength and conditioning programmes, as well as use our state-of-the-art sports science lab
- Develop your skills with sport-specific expert workshops in areas such as sports psychology, performance analysis and nutrition
- Gain basketball-specific coaching and officiating qualifications
- Access a physiotherapy clinic for injury treatment
- Develop as a player using our on-site court facilities for additional training
- Progress further in your career through our links with various clubs and teams in the local area
