All apprenticeships can vary, lasting anywhere from one to four years.

All apprenticeships are different, so it depends on what works best for you.

Some apprentices could spend four days at work and one day at college, whilst others could spend several weeks at work and a week at college. Your designated work-based tutor will be on hand throughout the student’s apprenticeship and will be able to give you guidance.

Apprenticeship wages start from a minimum of £4.30 per hour for the first year, but it’s up to you how much you pay your apprentice.

Apprentices get at least 20 days’ paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
