Our Level 2 Barbering course will help prepare you for your future career and help you learn all of the basic skills and techniques you need to provide cutting, styling services to men.
You’ll learn from experienced experts in our industry-standard hair salon, using leading industry manufacturers products while developing your skills on real paying clients.
You will learn the knowledge of working in the barbering industry and develop skills and techniques in everything from consulting clients to shampooing and conditioning, cutting and styling hair to shaping facial hair.
There are no formal entry requirements but we would require commitment as well as a ‘can do’ attitude.
You will also need an informal interview with course tutors.
As part of the course, you will study the following units:
Your assessment will include observations and short online tests as well as written work.
Following successful completion of the course, potential progression can lead onto employment within the barbering industry.
