Diploma in Electrical Installations
Level 2 (Evening)

About the course

This course is designed for adults who want a hands-on introduction to the electrical trade. You don’t need previous experience — just a willingness to learn and get involved. Over the duration of the course, you’ll cover the core skills and knowledge needed to work safely and confidently with electrical installations.

You’ll learn about things like wiring systems, electrical circuits, installation methods, testing, and the regulations that electricians need to follow. Alongside the theory, there’s plenty of practical work so you can apply what you learn in a workshop environment that reflects real-world situations.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a strong foundation in electrical installation and a recognised Level 2 qualification.

To study this course, you will need either the following:

  •  Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installations
  • GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including maths and English

You will be assessed through a series of practical assignments and job knowledge.

You could progress onto further study, such as the Level 3 Diploma in Electrical installations at TMC, or enter employment in the electro-technical industry.

This course is delivered on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5pm-9pm.
