Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement – Level 3 (PT)
Overview
These Level 3 qualifications are for those who assess occupational competence in an individual’s work environment and or in ‘training’ environments. The courses consider the Principles and Practices of Assessment, Methods for assessing competence and for assessing skills, knowledge and understanding.
The Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practice is for those who currently carry out internal quality assurance of the assessment process within an organisation. It focusses on the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.
These courses offer flexible start dates throughout the year and in each case. Delivery will be online with individual tutorial support, evidence collection and observation in own workplace.
To enrol on an assessors or verifiers course you must be vocationally competent in the role you intend to assess and also meet the specific requirements of the assessment strategy related to the units and qualifications to be assessed (where applicable). As an assessor you need access to 2 candidates to assess for each route. As a verifier you need access to 2 assessors who are each assessing 2 candidates.
