Introduction to Beauty Therapy (Diploma)
Level 1 (PT)

This course is for is you ...

You are just starting out in beauty and want an understanding of the industry – enough to succeed in a job or move on to further study.

 

 

You will gain experience across various areas of study, including;

  • Basic make-up application
  • Themed face painting
  • Skin and hand care
  • Providing basic pedicure
  • Providing basic manicure
  • Nail art application
  • Skincare
  • Salon reception duties

This course will provide the skills needed to become a competent salon assistant.

There are no entry requirements other than a keen interest in the beauty industry. You will be invited to an informal interview to help you choose what best suits your requirements.

Assessment is based on practical demonstrations and written assignments.

On completion of the course, you can progress onto the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
