COVID UPDATE, 20th JANUARY 2022

Please be aware that from 20th January, face coverings are no longer advised for students in classrooms, workshops and other teaching areas.

We still need you to wear a face covering in communal areas such as corridors, toilets and the refectory, until 27th January.

Please make sure you still have a mask or exemption lanyard for this short period of time, as you may be challenged if you are not wearing one or the other.

We would still advise you to test regularly in order to keep yourself and others safe and remember you can pick up test kits from Student Services (near main reception)

The three main symptoms of COVID are:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • A new continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
