I chose this course as I am a foster carer and wanted to learn counselling skills to help children. I have learned so much about myself as a person throughout the counselling courses leading to the foundation degree and also in the way I relate to others. The staff and the other students make the course a very supportive environment to learn. I love the course and hope to go on to achieve an honours degree. Then go on to counsel children. Alice Marie Dixon
I choose this course as I want to work as a mental health nurse. I like the course because it's rewarding and helps me develop my skills. We have just started the course last week and I'm looking forward to continue growing as a person and learning new things. Lyndsey Scullion
I opted to do this course to increase my knowledge and experience in health and fitness in order to pursue a career in the health sector. The lecturers are very knowledgeable and approachable. Class sizes are much smaller than the norm which allows more interaction with the tutor. Paula Cramman
I've really enjoyed my time at Tyne Met so far and I like how the staff treat us more as grown-ups! Connor Tilson
