TyneMet College catering staff were more than happy to lend a hand at the recent North Tyneside Area Command Cadet Attestation Ceremony.
Retreat Bistro and Coffee Shop Manager, Jacqui Churchill, and Catering Technicians Sharon Hepburn and Shelley Bowman were delighted to be asked to help out at the event at which 18 cadets were officially sworn in as Northumbria Police Cadets.
Every cadet is required to take a solemn Cadet Oath on completion of induction training and special guests at the ceremony included Area Commander, Superintendent, Paul Orchard, Assistant Chief Constable, Jo Farrell, Commandant Scott Blackett and Elected Mayor of North Tyneside, Norma Redfearn.
