Students studying on Engineering courses at TyneMet College enjoyed a great day ‘Paintballing’, a treat laid on for them because of their dedication, commitment and their positive attitude to their studies.

The 60 students enjoyed a battle-skilled day out and eagerly threw themselves into the challenges set for them. The students had to work in teams to protect their allocated territory whilst also evading being targeted by the other teams.

The day was a huge success and the students all said that they had really enjoyed themselves.

Mick Burton, Head of Engineering, TyneMet College, said:

“This trip was a reward for all of the hard work and dedication that the students had shown so far throughout the year.

The students have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality and have all displayed a mature attitude toward their studies.”
