An event, which was held recently at TyneMet College and organised in partnership with the North Tyneside Business Forum proved to be a huge success with over 100 local businesses in attendance.

The aim of the event was to help businesses to improve their customer service and Guest Speaker, Geoff Ramm, introduced his 'Celebrity Service' theory and how this model could be implemented to benefit businesses in North Tyneside.

Geoff is the creator of 'Celebrity Service' and ‘Observational Marketing’. He is a multi-award winning keynote speaker who has inspired audiences around the world including North America, Africa and Asia.

A ‘market place’ style lunch, provided an excellent forum for delegates to network and discuss business and service opportunities with other local organisations.

The event also provided a platform for TyneMet College to showcase its conference and events facilities and discuss with local businesses areas in which the College could offer support.

Paul Smissen Head of Business and Commercial Development at TyneMet College, said:

“I am delighted that so many local businesses were able to attend the event, feedback that I have received suggests that that Geoff managed to inspire and motivate all of the delegates who heard him speak.

“Working in partnership with the North Tyneside Business Forum gives the College a fantastic opportunity to listen to the needs of businesses in the local area and support them in any training and business development needs.”
