Top achiever, Euan Stuart from Queen Alexandra Sixth Form College in North Shields scored a full set of A*’s and A’s at A Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and History.

The sixth form college celebrated a fantastic 99.8% pass rate at A Level and the highest performing year with an increase of 71% from the previous year in students receiving A’s and A*’s.

Former John Spence student, Euan, who chose Queen Alex for its STEM Assured® status said: “I’m really delighted in my results – the teaching, support and friends I have made at Queen Alex have made my experience at the sixth form college a brilliant one.  I’ve worked hard and have focused on my studies – I’m now planning on studying a degree in Maths in Glasgow - I feel ready for the move and look forward to gaining more independence, something that Queen Alex has really prepared me for.”
