We are looking to appoint a Teacher in Functional Skills to teach Functional English across a range of curriculum areas. The ability to teach Mathematics and / or ICT would also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have a proven track record in the successful delivery of Functional English and / or Literacy qualifications. You will make a significant contribution to the development of the Functional Skills curriculum with the college and share best practice within the team. You will be responsible for the achievement of learner targets in terms of success, retention and achievement. You will also monitor learner progress closely by setting robust targets with learners.

A Support Worker is required to join the Additional Learning Support team at Coast Road campus. This post will involve working either within our Foundation Learning department or across college to support a range of learners in the achievement of their main programmes. Working under the direction of a teacher, you will be required to support learners with specific learning difficulties, physical disabilities and/or emotional or behavioural needs. You may also be required to support learners during breaks and/or during trips.
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting people in an education, residential or day services setting and ideally hold a recognised support qualification.
