Board of Governors

Tyne Metropolitan College’s Board of Governors is responsible for the strategic direction of the College.  It sets the College’s mission, vision and values and makes decisions about how College resources are allocated and efficiently used.

Our Board of Governors consists of people from the local area and business community.  The Principal is also a Governor and there are two Staff and two Student Governors.  The College’s Governors share a passion and commitment to learning and ensuring that TyneMet College is the provider of choice for further and higher education in North Tyneside and beyond.
