If you have a passion for cuisine and want to develop and perfect your culinary skills then look no further than TyneMet College. With state-of-the-art facilities, including hands-on training, you will become equipped with skills that will pave the way to a successful career in catering and hospitality.

Our unique on-site restaurant, Retreat, provides catering students with invaluable experience of preparing and serving a wide range of food, all under the watchful eyes of culinary experts and award- winning chefs.

TyneMet is keen to showcase the talents of its students each year. In 2013 the hard work and determination of the College's professional cookery students paid off as they celebrated multiple successes at the Salon Culinaire Festival in Newcastle; winning three Gold, four Silver and five Bronze medals in total.
