Why Tynemet
The course combines practical experience with essential theory. You will be taught design history, from the birth of modern graphics at the beginning of the 20th Century through to the latest movements relating to street art and underground art.

The curriculum reflects current employer needs and is geared towards work in the design industry or design-related self-employment.
Further Information
Start date: September 2009.
Assessment
The practical side of the course consists of continual assessment with an exhibition of work at the end of the second year in which you will be required to produce a final major project that reflects your own interests.
