NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing C&G
Entry Requirements
Applicants should have Level 2 in Hairdressing or over 10 years industry experience, be highly motivated, competent and currently working in a salon.
Course Content
Students will learn to improve stylist skills and study the in-depth theory of coloring, cutting and styling. The course is delivered through a series of units, including:
- Health and Safety
- Consultation
- Products
- Creative cutting
- Styling
- Long hair styling
- Coloring
- Colour correction
- Promotional events

Interesting Facts
Students must only attend college every other Monday, for 4 hours of theory. The course involves planning and participating in a promotional event such as a seasonal hair show.
