You should have five GCSE’s at grade C or above, one of which must be grade C in English Language.
Course Content
The Sociology programme introduces a critical awareness of factors such as education, health, the family and religion in influencing human behaviour. Students develop an understanding of social issues, and are able to acquire the skills needed to apply sociological theory to contemporary society. At AS level, Sociology students will study two of the six subjects available. These are: Families and Households; Health; Mass Media; Education; Wealth, Poverty and Welfare and Work and Leisure. Additionally, they explore the methodology used by social scientists

One 1 hour written exam and one 2 hour written exam.
