Course Content

This programme introduces students to the challenges and issues surrounding starting a business, including financial planning. The key internal functions of businesses and how the good management of these functions can improve the effectiveness and performance of a company are then explored. The initial topics studied include entrepreneurial activity and key financial concepts. Students will also learn about the ongoing management of businesses in areas such as human resources, operations, finance, marketing and competition.

One 1 hour 15 minute written exam and one 1 hour 30 minute written exam.
