You should have 5 GCSE’s at C or above, which must include English Language Grade C (higher tier)

Course Content

This programme enables candidates to explore the fundamental structures and functions of writing, speech and conversation and discover how language functions in different social contexts. Initially, this course offers an introduction to the study of language. Students will explore language in relation to power, gender and technology. They will then go on to develop their own personal writing expertise, producing work for different audiences and purposes.

One 1 hour 30 minute written exam and coursework.
