Five GCSEs at grade C or above to include English Language (higher tier).
Course Content
The course develops students’ understanding of how historians study the past. Students are encouraged to acquire and effectively communicate knowledge and understanding of 20th century German and British history. At AS level, students study the challenges faced by British governments and people from 1906 to 1951 and Life in Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1939 or anti-semitism and the Holocaust.

A variety of teaching methods are used including supported self-study, videos, visits, discussion, group work and lectures.

One 1 hour 15 minute written exam and one 1 hour 30 minute written exam.
