Five GCSEs at grade C or above.
Course Content
Photography students have the opportunity to experiment with both traditional and non-traditional photographic techniques including darkroom practices and digital imaging. This course covers a range of activities and indepth assignments. For each piece of work, students are encouraged to develop ideas, experiment, record what they have done and present their work effectively.Suitability
This course is suitable for students who are:
- Keen to develop their visual skills
- Creative, enthusiastic and imaginative
- Able to sustain an investigation
- Able to enjoy visits to galleries, museums, workshops and studios
- Willing to experiment and take risks in their work
- Willing to review their progress and make improvements
Further Information
Start date: September/ one year.
Assessment
One 8 hour practical exam and coursework.
Progression To
A2 Photography.
