Course Content
Candidates gain valuable understanding of the many ways in which the law affects their daily lives. By learning how to apply the law to specific problems, students develop a critical understanding of the legal system. At AS level, students will study law-making and the legal system, discover how our laws are created and explore the concept of liability, in both criminal and civil law contexts.

The Law Course always uses, where appropriate, up to date items in the news which are relevant.
In AS Law we have just studied offences such as assault and battery and examine news accounts in the local and national press to illustrate this.
