You should have five GCSE’s at grade C or above, which must include Maths and English Language.
Course Content
The word ‘psychology’ is derived from the Greek ‘psyche’ (mind, soul) and ‘logos’ (study); therefore it literally means ‘study of the mind’. The subject is now generally interpreted as the ‘scientific study of behaviour and mental processes.’ AS level Psychology students are introduced to the subject through the study of memory, attachment and research methods. They go on to explore stress, social psychology (including conformity and obedience) and abnormality.
