As a student at TyneMet, your learning and development is of paramount importance to us and we take pride in offering the highest level of support and guidance.

The Learner Services team consists of dedicated Student Advisors who will help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

THE GATEWAY
The Learner Services team are located in the Gateway, your dedicated drop-in centre open Monday to Friday to answer any queries and to discuss progression and employment opportunities to suit you. The College's Learner Services department is very proud to have gained 'Matrix' accreditation which is a national quality standard for organisations delivering excellent information, advice and guidance services about learning and work.

FEES & FINANCIAL SUPPORT
We are committed to ensuring your learning and development is our top priority with a flexible fees policy to suit your specific needs. The College works closely with a number of funding sources to secure grants and financial backing to cover some of the costs of running courses and to support your learning.

CHILDCARE
With nursery facilities on campus, we are available to help with childcare and enable you to get on with your studies. You may also be entitled to support with childcare costs through the discretionary Learner Support Fund (dLSF).
